Scrapbooking Success

Where do you begin when creating a scrapbook page? Simple sketches can help you map your way to scrapbooking success.

A sketch is simply a template that you can follow to create your beautiful scrapbook pages. With a sketch you will know where to place photos, journaling, and accents, a sketch can take the mystery out of designing a scrapbook page.  I will be uploading a different sketch each week for you to follow, but you can create your own sketches as well! All you need is some graph paper, a pencil and a ruler! Look for inspiration around you. You can design a sketch from someone else’s scrapbook layouts, from ads in magazines.. anywhere you find inspiration.

Today I have 3 new sketches for you and the layouts that I’ve created using them.

Don’t be afraid to differ slightly from the sketch. The sketch is to be a guideline, a way to get you started. Scrapbooking is an art, not an exact science! It is completely up to you.
